Pippa Wright is a young and vibrant choral animateur with theatrical roots and a passion for bringing high quality, holistic singing experiences to adults and children across all walks of life. Pippa has spent over ten years engaging in various forms of choral outreach and music education alongside her career as a professional actor-musician.

For 5 years, Pippa has led the upper voices of SPARK choir in the ‘Inspiring Excellence’ programme with Ark Schools, working with teenagers and young adults form London, Birmingham and Hastings. Pippa has also brought together adult singers in festival workshops and has led a number of workplace choir programmes in London, preparing singers for concerts, parties and Christmas events.

Over the past three years, Pippa has taken her interest in inclusive music-making to the next level by engaging with educational research on an MA programme. She has just completed a piece of research into the relationship between storytelling and music with the Centre for Research in Early Childhood (CREC) in Birmingham.

Pippa studied Music at the University of Birmingham and then went on to train in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, where she was awarded the Cameron Mackintosh Scholarship and the Royal Academy Masterclass Prize.
